The Great Wheel of KarmaThere are three basic metaphors for the nature of a person's Existence: The straight line represents the idea of strict linearity, that is, a definite beginning and a definite end; the wheel represents the Great Wheel of Karma where the existence of a person is circular and in the context of reincarnation every person is condemned or blessed to have the same type of life forever, for better or worse; then, there is curvelinearity, which is represented by the Spiral, where a person's existence is half way between rational self determination and deterministic karma. Now, Buhdda said that a person could get off the Great Wheel of Karma throught the Eightfold Path which involves meditation. I, however, have a different approach, you see, if you imagine that you are on the Great Wheel of Karma, and you want off, all you have to do is imagine that you are in the Dao of a Circle which is has an interior angle of either 360 degrees or 3,600 degrees, thus showing that there is no determinate one Wheel or Circle of Karma.
